HS breadstick recipe?

Hey I'm not sure if anyone even looks at this Blog anymore LOL! But I was wondering if anyone has the recipe for those breadsticks you could buy at lunch in High School from the Home Ec room? I think I heard someone had it? If you could pass it along that would be GREAT! Hope everyone is doing well! Oh and I will be in Utah from June 16 to July 2 and would love to get together! Let me know if you have some time!

Oooh! I want that one too! I know my sister has it, I'll try to get it and post it if no one else does! Thanks for reminding me...those breadsticks were a highlight of my high school experience. :)

I am not positive this is the exact recipe, but I have used it ever since taking that class way too many times in high school.

Cheese Topped Breadsticks

1 Tbsp. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 Tbsp. powdered milk
1 Tbsp. honey or brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

Dissolve yeast and powdered milk in warm water and let stand 5 minutes. Add honey/brown sugar, salt, and 2 c. flour. Stir and add remaining flour. Roll out to desired size, brush with butter and sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan cheese. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.

Sounds so good. Enjoy!

By the way, I will be in town May 12th through 18th. If anyone is around, I would love to see them. Sorry I won't see you McKell.
