This picture is of Miles and me at one of the 32 covered bridges in Parke County, Indiana (Covered Bridge Capital of the World), where we took a drive while my Mom and Dad were here. We went to 9 covered bridges.
So kind of crazy, I thought I wasn't going to make it to Brigham City until Christmas time, but my uncle unexpectedly passed away this last weekend and I came home for the funeral. It was really hard, especially since my uncle was only 44 and he left a 14 year old son and 16 year old daughter. I can't imagine losing my Dad at such a young age. So Miles and I came home on Tuesday to stay for a week. It was actually kind of good that I left this week because it was midterms for Jared. He didn't get home from school before midnight every night this week.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. It is hard when anyone dies, but especially when they are younger and/or leave really young families behind. Which uncle? What was the cause of death? How is your aunt and cousins holding up? Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family members.
How did Jared do on his midterms?
Hey An,
It was my Dad's sisters husband. I was their flower girl way back when. He died of a heart attack while playing hockey with his family. he was only 44, and he and my aunt started dating in high school so it was really sad. But the funeral was really good. He was innactive, but nobody got up and preached; it was all really positive and I hope its a turning point for my aunt and the kids.
Jared did well on midterms. He wa really worried about Stats but he ended up doing really well on it. I hope he doesn't colapse from exhausion, though. He has seriously been working 15 hrs a day! Even on Saturday. But hey its only two years and then hopefully I get my husband back!
